Facebook FacesThe Mo-Town Facebook group phenomenon began in early 2010 as Internet Mormons began sneaking out of their closets and posting under their real names instead of avatars and monikers. By March of that year, Facebook groups gathering Internet Mormons from across the United States and world were formed to make it possible for people to meet face-to-face. It wasn’t long until group admins realized that Facebook is tantamount to the Wild West: feelings got hurt, co-admins blocked and banned one another, and new and then newer still groups emerged. Today, there are hundreds of Mormon-themed Facebook groups strewn across the Internet.

Below is a list of a few of them. Please email us at facebookgroups@mohub.org if you’d like to add your group to our list.
